Dr. Kolleboyina Jayaramulu (Ram) is Assistant Professor, at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) and also Visiting Professor, Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. He had strong research background in the field of hybrid porous materials, 2D materials and its hybrids for various energy storage/conversation, electrocatalysis and environmental (water purification, gas storage/separation, harvesting) applications. Before joining at IIT Jammu, Ram worked as senior researcher at the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials, Czech Republic and Technical University Munich Germany. He was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship, Germany, and a ICMS Postdoctoral Fellowship. His contribution in this field of hybrid porous materials include publications in various high impact international journals like Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Functional Materials as well as Nature Communications and his research was highlighted in Advanced Engineering News, Advanced Science News and various cover arts.
